This is why I waited ...

There was a reason why I waited to go to college after I graduated from high school. That reason was because I did not want to deal with the BULLSHIT! Like what classes I have to take, the basics. I don't need to take a PE class if I am majoring in psychology. Its high school all over again, excecpt you are paying for these classes this time around.

According to Tarrant County College in Texas, you TAKS scores are no longer valid after 3 years from your graduation date. I okay, not bad. I can understand why, escpecially with the math.

So I had to take the placement test before I could eve nregister for any classes. One reason was because of the 3 year rule and the second reason was because when they transfer my transcripts, my TAKS scores where not printed on them. No one knows why. I didn't have a problem paying the 29.00 to take the test.

I knew I would have problems with the math. I am not good with percent and fractions. The writing totally not a problem along with the reading.

But to my dismay I failed not only the math, like I had expected, but also the reading. Come on. How they hell could I possibly take the test if I couldn't read. Of course there is more to the reading test with the comprehension and such. That's not the point I am trying to make.

So I register for my first semester taking English Com 1 and Introduction to human Culture.
Second semester I took English Com 2, Physical elements of Geography, and Ethics.

Now that I am on my third semester I can't take any history classes or psychology or many other classes because I did not pass the reading.

I found this funny. To any one paying attention with a fucking mind could tell I can read. I retook the test today and even though I study some I knew I would still have problems with the math. The score you have to have for reading to pass is a 78. I made a 76. How fucked up is that. The questions are hard, and my score makes me feel stupid.

Now the part I don't get is I should be able to take any fucking class I want since I am paying for it. Where do they get off telling me I can't take a history class. Its my fucking money.

I have made the choice that if the school refuses to let me take the classes I want to take with my money then I am pulling myself out of that fucked up school and just going to a career school where the only classes I take are for my major not classes that waste my fucking time and money.
